1915 -His father died on 16 Mar and was buried at Mt Moriah Cemetery, Philadelphia.

1917-He is mentioned in the book, “The Textile American”, vol XXVII, Jan. 1917 No. 1, page 11:
Edward White Jr., secretary of the Tioga Textile company, is a rising producer, who is destined to have a leading place in the textile world.

Edward White, textile manufacturer, was born in Philadelphia February 7, 1879. His father was Edward White and his mother Anne B. White, nee Richardt. Is treasurer of the Tioga Textile Company, is a Republican in politics and in religion an Episcopalian. Was married in 1903 to Edna Hufford [sic] and has two children, Edward, 4th, and Hufford [sic]. Is member of the Manufacturers’ Club, the Frankford Country Club and Wool Golf Association, and is also a member of the Philadelphia Public School Alumni. Residence, 1614 Wakeling Street, Frankford, Philadelphia. Business address Adams and Emerald Streets, Philadelphia.

1930-He is listed in the US Census taken on 16 Apr 1930 at the National Archives, film roll, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia County, Philadelphia City, ward 23, e.d. 875, sheet 30A, the 495th dwelling house and 627th family enumerated, lines 4 & 5 as:

1934 -His mother died on 1 Nov and was buried at the family plot at Mt Moriah Cemetery, Philadelphia.

1935 -He made his will on 13 Jul.
-His will and estate papers are on file at the Phila Will Archives, 401 N Broad St, will #1730, 1937. His will is summarized as:
1st -pay just debts and funeral expenses
2nd -residue of the estate to his beloved wife, Edna, absolutely
3rd -his wife is his executrix

1937 -He died on 1 May at 10:30 am. His death certificate states: File #48653, Reg. #09998, Edward White, Jr [sic] of 1322 Wakeling St, Phila, died at Frankford Hospital, Phila on 1 May 1937, male, white, married to Edna W [nee Wrifford], born 7 Feb 1879, age 58, a retired manufacturer of textile goods, last worked at this occupation in 1929, spent 40 years at this occupation, born in Philadelphia, father Edward White, Sr born Scotland, mother Anna B Richards born NJ, informant Wrifford White of 1322 Wakeling St, Phila, buried 4 May 1937 at Lawnview Cemetery, Montgomery Co, PA, undertaker Wm T Rose of 1223 Arrott St, the medical doctor [name unreadable] of 5030 Oxford Ave, attended him from 1 Apr 1937 to 1 May 1937 and last saw him alive on 1 May, death occurred at 10:30 am, from carcinoma of Rt Maurk? since 1925, also metastatic carcinoma Base Migrae? and Imast? Rt. since 1935.

-The Petition for Probate of the Estate of Edward White, Jr: Petition of Edna White, executrix of will dated 13 Jul 1935, filed 11 May 1937: Deceased died at Frankford Hospital, Philadelphia, on 1 May 1937 at 10:30 am, residence 1322 Wakeling St, Phila. His personal property was estimated at $100,00 and real estate at $1,600. He owned 2025 Wilmot St, Phila. The will was probated on 13 May 1937.
