Her husband Fulbert died shortly before 1130, when William, son of Richard, gave £50:11:8 for having the marriage of Fulbert's widow (Pipe Roll, 31 Henry I, p. 158). Her name was Athelize and they had at least two sons, Hugh and William. There may also have been another son, who, as Elias de Chilham, witnessed Hugh's charter to St. Bertin.280
