Web Notes notes for Oneca FORTUNEZ
Stuart's "Royalty For Commoners" (293:41) & (294:41) Her first husband was Abdallah I, Sultan of Cordoba 882/912 (b.842/ d.912). Note that Abdallah was still living when Oneca married AZNAR.

Sanches Albornoz, Claudio, Problemas de la Historia Navarra del Siglo IX. in Cuadernos de Historia de Espana, 25:5-82: Oneca left the future Sultan for her first cousin. There is, however, more to it than meets the eye. Following a defeat at the hands of Cordoba, Garcia Iniguez, King of Navarre saw his adult son a hostage of the muslims. Fortun Garces was kept in Cordoba for 30 years, long after his father died, before returning to find his kingdom all but ruled by the upstart Jimenez clan (which would eventually supplant the Aristas). It was presumably at the time of his return that daughter Oneca left Abdallah, son of her father's captor, to return to their homeland in Pamplona, marrying her cousin Aznar (son of Fortun's younger brother Sancho). This may have been intended to strengthen the family, but the dynasty died with Fortun. Still, their blood continued in Oneca's daughter Toda, who as Queen and then Queen-Mother (and Queen-Grandmother) played a dominant role in Iberian politics for 50 years."
