A branch of the Kellys settled at Donamona, Co Mayo, near Belcarra in the 15th century and sided with the Burkes of Mayo against the Burkes of Galway in the period 1460 to 1469.
Married Slany, daughter of Turlogh Donn O Brien, King of Thomond who died in 1528. Married 2d, Engelina, daughter of Hugh de Courtenay.9
