Dublin marriage license abstracts: Richard Gregg of Inch, Co Clare, Gent. & Eliza Robnett of the parish of St Peter, spinster

She had at least 4 sons. The 4th son inherited Cappa. Her son, Richard Gregg, was born in 1747, probably at Cappa, Ennis, Clare, Ireland.

The marriage of Elizabeth Robnett and Richard Gregg on July 18, 1737 is shown in the register of st.Peter & St. Kevin’s church published in 1911 by the parish register society. In a collection of Dublin marriage licence abstracts is recorded the licence granted to “Richard Gregg of Inch, Co. Clare, Gent. and Eliza Robnett of the parish of St. Peter, spinster.”

Jonathan GREGG of the city of Dublin, gent., and Ann Gregg otherwise Robnett his wife in consideration of two hundred pounds did release unto John Robnett of the city of Dublin, gent. eldest son and heir of Robert Robnett late of Milltowne in the county of Wicklow, gent . an annunity of thirty pounds a year payable to the said Anne out of lands of Knockrahine in the County of Wicklow by virtue of an article from said John Robnett therein recited and all arrears therof and all Dower and all arrears thereof or demand which the said Ann can claim out of the said land of Knockrahine or out of the lands of Tubbervillerin ye said county or any other estate or inheritance or freehold whereof the said Robert Robnett died seized of which said indenture and the memorial are witnessed by Benjamin Johnston Public notary in the city of Dublin and Richard Neville his clerk.

Dec 8, 1760 Reg# 137582: Gregg and others to Scriven ...deed bearing date July 1, 1760 between Richard Gregg of the city of Dublin, gent.,...William Robnett of the city of Dublin, gent., ....and Edward Scriven of the city of Dublin, Gent.,...by which Richard Gregg for the consideration mentioned and by the direction... of William Robnett did sell to Edward Scriven that house on the west side of George lane(Dublin)..to hold from hench forth for the remainder of the terms of sixty one years and 38 yrs in reversion thereto granted two leases by from John Arthur and Benedict Arthur to John Martin.
