Ban Shenchus 191:5 identifies her simply as Etain, dau. of hUi Eagra, and mother of Cathal m. Aeda O'Connor, Brian m. Murchada O'Brien, & Mor ingen Ruaidri O'Connor. The most likely father by far would be Taithlech O'Egra, but other near relatives are also possible. The Annals of Inisfallen record her death in 1104.
