Web Notes notes for Raymond 'Towhead' BERENGUER Count Of Barcelona
Stuart's "Royalty For Commoners" (54:31). Count of Barcelona & Carcassonne. Called "Towhead". T.N. Bisson's, "The Mediaval Crown of Aragon", chart on page 198. He ruled from 1076 to 1082.

Ramon Berenguer II and his brother, Berenguer Ramon II "the Fratricide" (possibly twins) jointly ruled (or perhaps partitioned) the County of Barcelona, until Berenguer Ramon II (who may be best known for his capture by Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar, "El Cid") solved the problem and earned his nickname in one (knife) stroke.
EL CID was an interested party because his daughter was married to the son of the murdered brother
