Cynfrig ap Rhiwallon, a descendant of Dingad, another son of Tudur Trefor, held about the time of the Norman Conquest a large portion of the western part of Maelor Gymraeg, where Tudur ap Rhys Sais is said to have held land which would seem to have been retained by a descendant, Ednyfed Gam, at the beginning of the 14th century.86
