-Ann contracted to marry Edward White on 9 May. The marriage is recorded on FHL film #993,332, Parish Records of Arbroath Parish, Co Angus, frame 1631, p71: 1851 Surname-White, Contract-May 9th, Parties' Names-Edward White, Millforeman, & Ann Teviotdale, both in this Parish, Marriage-May 30th.

1852 -Her son, Edward White Jr, was born 4 Jan in Arbroath, and baptised as an Episcopalian on 11 Jan.

1857 -Her daughter, Ann Esplin White, was born on 13 May at 6:20 PM at Ladyloan, Arbroath, Scotland. George Hay says in his book, "History of Arbroath," 941.31/A1H2h, pub 1876, on p416, "Ladyloan [street], like Ladybridge, takes its name from the chapel of Our Lady at Bridgend."

1859 -Her son, Alexander St Clair White, was born on 22 Jan at 3 PM at 71 Ladyloan, Arbroath, Scotland.

1862 -Her daughter, Amanda, was born on 23 Mar at 8:45 am at 26 Ladyloan, Arbroath.

1866 - She wrote her will. Disposition and Settlement by Ann Williamson Teviotdale, spouse of Edward White, Arbroath.
I, Ann Williamson Teviotdale residing in Arbroath spouse of Edward White Mill overseer Arbroath, for the love favor and affection which I have and bear to my said Husband and for other good causes and considerations Do hereby and in virtue of all my rights, powers and faculties Give, Grant Assign and Dispose to and in favor of the said Edward White if he shall survive me and his heirs and assignees whomsoever heritably and irredeemably All and Sundry the whole Means Estate and Effects heritable and moveable real and personal wherever situated or addebted Which shall belong and be addebted to me at the time of my decease or which I have or shall have power to dispose of with the whole Vouchers and Instructions of the said moveable and personal Estate and the Writs and Evidents of my said Heritable Estate; and particularly without prejudice to the said generally All and Whole that Area

1883 -Her daughter, Annie, died on 24 Aug and was buried in the White family plot at Mt Moriah Cemetery, Phila. They were living at 2048 N 11th St, Phila.

1892 -She died on 18 Nov and was buried in the White family plot, Section 17 lot 15, at Mt Moriah Cemetery, Phila. Her death is recorded at the Phila City Archives, 1892 death register, #10936, Ann W White, white, female, 64, married, died 18 Nov from asthma, J.W. Rogers, MD, born Scotland, residence ward 20, 2009 Camac, buried 21 Nov Mt Moriah. According to the records of Mt Moriah Cemetery, at the Penna. Historical Society, Phila, film 777:2, she was buried at Mt Moriah on 21 Nov, age 64, buried section 17, lot 15, SE corner, head north, permit #56106.

WHITE.-On November 18th, 1892, ANNE W., wife of Edward White, Sr., aged 64 years. Funeral private on Monday at 1 o'clock from her late residence, 2009 Camac Street. Interment at Mount Moriah Cemetery.

P. 97: To William G Shields, Esq. Register of Wills and ex-officio Clerk of the Orphans’ Court for the City and County of Philadelphia, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In the matter of the probate of the last Will and Testament of Ann W White, formerly Ann W Teviotdale, dec’d. The Petition of Edward White respectfully showery that he is the Executor named in the last Will and Testament of Ann W White, formerly Ann W Teviotdale, dated 13 Jan 1866. That said Ann W White formerly Ann W Teviotdale was a resident of Philadelphia County State of Pennsylvania, and departed this life at number 2009 Camac Street in the county of Philadelphia and State of Penn. on Friday the 17 day of Nov 1892 at 3 o’clock a.m. The said testatrix was possessed of no personal property and real estate (less incumbrance) to the value of about $100. Therefore the said Edward White respectfully applies for probate of the said last Will and Testament and for letters testamentary thereon. Dated February 25th, 1893. Bounded the said piece of ground by the ground feued to James Duncan on the Northwest, the Road of Nerfeel? Leading from Dishland Street to George Nightman’s feu on the Southwest, the ground feed to the said George Nightman on the Northeast the Road of Nerfeel leading from Dishland Street to George Nightman’s feu on the Southwest, the ground feed to the said George Nightman on the Northwest and the said Dishland Street on the Southeast parts; With free Ish? And Entry thereto by the streets belonging to the Superiors, the Trustees or Patrons under Deed of Mortification granted by the deceased John Covill of Broshock Bank Town Clerk of Arbroath so far as the same may be opened by them, all lying in the Parish of Saint Vigeans and County of Forfar upon which piece of ground above disposed William Adams formerly Groc?noa Builder in Arbroath and Alexander Menmiur Flaxdrsser in Arbroath erected a Double Dwelling House of two Stories and finished Attics and back buildings or aff? Houses. Together with the haill buildings erected and to be erected on said group d and my whole right title and interest in said subjects and others, but with and under the real burdens, stipulations, conditions, provisions and declarations contained in the Feu Charter of the Subjects specially before disposed granted by the said Trustees of Patrons in favor of the said William Adams and Alexander Menmuir which is dated the Twenty third and Twenty fourth days and Recorded in the Feu Particular Register of Sabine’s for Forfarshire the Twenty-fourth day all of March Eighteen hundred and sixty which burdens, stipulations, conditions, provisions and declarations together with the manner of Holding contained in the said Feu Charter are hereby specially referred to and this reference is in terms of said Feu Charter directed and appointed to be Recorded in the Register of Sabine’s. With Entry at my decease. To be Holden the said Lands Subjects nd others before disposed a me vel de me. And I hereby Resign the said Lands, Subjects and others for new Infeffment or Investiture. And I hereby Revoke all former Settlements, made by me at any time heretofore. And I Reserve full power to Revoke presents as I may think proper. And I Dispense with the Deliv? And I Reserve my Life rent right of the haill premises and I ? Registration hereof and of any Codicils or additions hereto for present. In Witness Whereof these presents written on this and the preceding paper by James Greig Ferrier Clerk to James Duncan Winton ? In Arbroath are subscribed by me at Arbroath on the thirteenth day of January 1866 before Witnesses the said James Duncan Winton and James Ferrier Writer hereof.

Register’s Office Feb 27 1893, Then personally appeared Edward White Jr and Alexander S White who being duly sworn according to law, say that they were well acquainted with Ann W Tevoitdale (wife of Edward White) the Testatris above named. In her lifetime, and are familiar with her signature, having frequently seen her write her name as well as other matters; that they have carefully examined the foregoing signature “Ann W Tevoitdale” to Will dated Jan 13, 1866 and verily believe it to be in her own proper handwriting. Sworn and subscribed before me, the date above. Signed by Edward White Jr and Alexander S White.

Register’s Office, Feb 27, 1893, I do swear that as the Executor of the foregoing last will and Testament of Ann W Tevoitdale wife of Edward White, deceased. I will well and truly administer the goods and chattels, rights and credits of said deceased, according to law; and that I will diligently and faithfully regard and well and truly comply with the provisions of the law relating to Collateral Inheritances. That the said Testatrix died on the 17th day of Nov 1892 at 3 o’clock am. Be it Remembered that, on the 27 day of Feb 1893, before me, William G Shields, Register for the Probate of wills and granting Letters Testamentary and of Administration in and for the City and County of Philadelphia, after due proof and hearing had, according to the Laws of said Commonwealth, It is ordered and decreed that the last Will and Testament of Ann W Tevoitdale, wife of Edward White, be duly admitted to probate and filed in the Office of the Register of Wills.
