- He moved down to Miami, FL in the 1930's. He had been out of work since about 1929/1930. His oldest daughter, Mary, had married and moved down there already, so Frank and his wife lived with her and her husband, George Sinnamon. He made wicker baskets/furniture down there for the White Craft Furniture Co until he retired. He worked until he was 85! He ate raw bacon, bread, and elderberry wine for lunch every day. He made the wine. Lived to be age 101. He read Nietsche's "The Anti-Christ" and compared it to the Bible.

1942 - In Aug, he applied for a duplicate certificate of naturalization because of errors in his daughters' ages on the original application #10-B-2565. His application for a new naturalization paper states: I hereby apply under section ? of the Nationality Act of 1940, to the Commissioner of Immigration and Naturalization for a new certificate of naturalization in lieu of one which was issued to me . . . My full true name is Frank Brucker. I was born at Palanka Hungary Oct 1, 1877. I arrrived in the US at NY, NY on Jun 6, 1906. I now reside at 36 N.E. 65th St, Miami, Dade, FL. My personal description is age 64 years, male, white, light complexion, blue eyes, gray hair, 5'6", weight 130 lbs, no visible distinctive marks, married, former nationality Hungarian. My certificate of naturalization #821155 was issued to me by Court of Common Pleas at Norristown, Montgomery Co, PA on May 26, 1919. Since May 26, 1919, the date upon which I became a citizen of the USA, I have not lost my nationality by marriage to an alien . . . by formal renunciation . . . I have not been absent from the US since the above-named date upon which I became a citizen of the USA. Such paper became mutilated between 1939 and 1941 in Jenkintown, PA under the following circumstances: I lent my certificate to my daughter, Theresa, to enable her to prove her citizenship and she had it for two years and when I got it back, somebody had changed it to correct it to show what the true ages of my daughters Mary and Theresa were at the time of my naturalization, 15 and 13 respectively. The Clerk had incorrectly stated their ages as 3 and 5 when he made out the certificate. [signed] Frank Brucker 26 N.E. 65th St, Miami, FL. State of FL, Co of Dade, subscribed and sworn to before me at Miami, FL this 22 Aug 1942, William Libowitz, U.S. Naturalization Examiner.
-Examiner's Report: A statement taken from the applicant shows that his certificate of naturalization was altered while in the possession of his daughter, Theresa, the changes being to correct the ages of applicant's daughters Mary and Theresa, at the time of applicant's naturalization, an error having been made in preparing the certificate. I have investigated this application and I am satisfied that the original naturalization paper described herein has not nor will be put to any improper use, and that it has been actually mutilated. I recommend that the said application be granted. William Libowitz. U.S. Naturalization Examiner. Approved and referred to the Commissioner of Immigration and Naturalization 3 Nov 1942. W.W. Eyster, District Director.
